If you were to weigh an empty jar and then put a bee into it and it was flying and not touching any thing inside the jar Would the jar with the bee in it be any hevier than the empty jar?

An empty jar would be a jar with no air and the bee couldn't fly (nor live!) into it. Therefore, the bee would lie at the bottom and the total weight would be that of the jar plus the weight of the bee.
Now if you were to weigh a jar full of air and put a flying bee into it, the force exerted by the bee on the air would be transmitted to the bottom of the jar and would be equal to the weight of the bee (on average, since it would be greater if the bee goes up and lower if the bee goes down), thus the total weight would be that of the jar plus air plus bee.
If the bee suddenly stopped flying, the total weight would be only that of the jar plus air for the short time that the bee would be falling.
Can you figure out what would happen if the bee was flying upside down (that is, during the short time before it hits the bottom of the jar)?
Replace the bee by a small helicopter if you have a hard time visualizing all this.

Yeah the jar would be just as heavy. You would need to ensure the bee was on the bottom in order to get an accurate reading.

Weight is a force. And a bee flying around a jar, with no contact to the jar itself, will not in any way shape or form affect the weight of the jar.

The mass would probably be greater, but I'm not sure about the weight...
