We have been trying for almost 3 years! We are both young and healthy. What could the problem be? Some women get pregnant the first time they ever have unprotected sex! What are some factors that increase or decrease the likelihood of women getting pregnant?

I take it you both have been to the doctor and been tested. If this is the case and you were given the all clear, it's just a matter of time. Be patient and try to relax. Don't become obsessed if you can help it. (I know it's easy said than done), but get a hobbie to take your mind off kids and, if there is no physical reason for not conceiving, you have more chance of falling pregnant.

BEST OF LUCK. JUST RELAX.

I highly recommend the book: Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.

You need to see a doctor and possibly a specialist. You need to start undergoing testing to see if every thing is ok.

I am going through something similar though only for about a year. Are you sure your timing is right? I agree about not stressing out ... babymaking should be fun ... not a combination of stress and science! So, good luck and have fun!

Stress plays a factor in all this.

have you been tested for fertility levels? How "harsh" is your vaginal environment? How "potent" is your husband?
