I'm feeling nostalgic right now..... what was your favorite childhood toy? Do you still have it?

Mine was a stuff panda bear (How asian can I get?!?!?!). It had a small head a HUGE butt. I still have it but it's been through many "surgeries", and it's pretty worn out, but I still love it.

What was your childhood toy?

The one where you pound the wood pegs with a mallet then turn it over and do it again, never ending fun.

My favorite was a little teddy bear I got when I was about 11 or so. I named her Samantha. I still have her today, even though I am 30 years old, I am married, and I have a little boy. Samantha brings back happy memories, especially of my grandmother. I love that teddy bear very much.

I was (still am) a bit of a Star Wars geek so I had just about every single action figure and space ship. When I went away to college my parents gave them all to a charity shop. I was a little upset!

Oscar the Grouch Alarm Clock (not a toy really, but I loved it). It would wake you up with Oscar popping his head out of a trash can saying "Ring, Ring, it's time to get up. It's gonna be another grouchy morning, so get up." So lame, but so very cool at the time!!

I don;t know if anyone will remember this one...
"Betsy Wetsy"
The first doll you gave it a bottle, water of course, and it "wet" its diaper.
I could not wait for mine!
And I felt like a 'real Mom'!

PS- This was the mid to late 50's.
Of course...I am NOT that old.
I only dreamed this!!!!!!!
