Its called bile... which is made in liver but it does not store it. this dilute (less concentrated) bile goes thru the bile duct to gallbaldder where it becomes concentrated bile. and when the food enters the stomach the bile is released into the small intestine (duodenum) where the digestion occurs. ALMOST all digestion occurs in the duodenum of the small intestine where Bile, pancreatic enzymes, and intestinal enzymes act upon the churned food to break them down into their basic molecules.
