American schools are much more competitive, leaving the students who always lose to give up trying.
Asian schools endorse working together to solve the problem and not being competitive.
So we could teach our children to accomplish tasks for the sake of accomplishing them and to work together to beat your own score instead of someone elses.
American schools are free education. That means that all children must attend, from those who recieve private tutoring to those who work to feed their families at night and come to school hungary. The rich and the poor attend American schools.
Asian schools are not free education. This means that only the people that are middle class-upper class will be able to afford to attend. Students with higher family incomes have more opportunites and higher test scores because of these opportunities.
This is why, in Asia, the students that are attending those schools have higher intelligence overall than American counterparts. If only the wealthy Americans were allowed to attend school, our test scores would probably match. However, I believe we can suffer "looking bad" to ignorant people, as long as ALL of our children are getting a stable education.

Asian Educations is way better then American Education. Asians are way ahead in Studies. They dont have a good way of teaching but they are really ahead. Educations is honored in Asia. Everyone has to pay to recieve education. Students dont have the right to say or do something agianst teachers. They are Really respectful and challenging! Asian Education is the BEST!!!!! WITHOUT A DOUBT! I say this because i have been in both situations. i math i do in 10 th grade in America, i did in 6 grade in India!

You are opening up a can of "worms" of all kinds.
There is a need to "define" and "specify" and "put into context" whenever you ask a question like this.
You are dealing with too many factors, from the very simple to the very complicated, such as:
1) populations
2) cultures
3) ages
4) subject matter
5) types of classes
6) types of teachers
7) types of school
8) etc., etc., etc. - on and on....
9) even what country in Asia (many many countries there)
10) even what state in America (if USA is being implied here)
And you have to define the ?
What are you comparing with the "VS"?
The good and bad?
The most effective and least effective?
The most complicated and complex and the simplest?
I hope you can understand where I am coming from and make it a better question.

In many Asian countries, you have to pay for your children's education. There is no public school system. I guarantee that if that were the case here, most parents would make their child's education a number 1 priority.

Why is it that America has offered the world all the top inventions and creativity over the past 200 plus years since our inception? Because we are the melting pot, and our Heinz 57 breed of humanity has created it's own ethnicity which is why Americans are the rare breed that continues to evolve becoming the super race with super technology and will superiorly continue to dominate the world in this arena forever.

You can't compare apples to oranges. You cannot compare all American systems to all Asian systems. Here is where people go wrong.
Asia is a huge expanse of countries and ethnicity's. There is no way no compare them to each other, much less our American system. We are just so provincial that we think Asia is one country with all of the same education systems.
In addition, the United States has a huge number of school districts, states and ethnicity's. Though NCLB tries to make them standardized, they vary greatly. So which school district are we comparing to all of Asia?
Another thing that makes it difficult to compare, if you choose to use tests taken by both Americans and Asians, is that we attempt to educate all of our children, which is not always the case in some other countries. Because of this, we are likely to have weaker scores.
To me the real proof is in the pudding. The United States is the most powerful nation in the world. Our scientists and thinkers have provided zillions of inventions. Why mess with something that is working?

Yes, Asian Education is better than Amercian Education.
Asians are more strict. If you get a bad grade, you've shame everyone in your family. In Asia, kids take tests everyday. They study & their parents make them study. If not, it's spanking that's next. That's why Asian Education is better than Amercian Education. It's because Amercian isn't that strict.
