This is a reply to one below...JFK was a democrat.

Also, To all you minorities out there remember one thing.
The republicas were the ones who lead the war against slavery, and the democrats supported salvery. Don't believe me? look it up!
Now the majority of democrats are minorities? Why?

Also, since Bush has been in office. the national Unemployment rate is at a record low, and despite a lagging economy, the stock market is at an all time high.

You may think Bush is doing a bad job, but if you think about it, it doesn't matter who is president. you will still have to get up everyday, go to work, and come home to pay your bills. You life will not change noticable at all, no matter who is president. What really matters is who is paying your congress man/woman the most to make certain laws.

For example, did you know it is illegal in the USA to manufacture hydrogen cells to sell to the public. Yes, there is a device out there that anyone can make, and put in their car to run it on hydrogen, but because the oil companies pay lobbyiest to get congress to make certain laws, it's not available to the public. It doesn't matter who is republican or democrat. They all take the money. If it wasn't true, your car would be running on water. If you don't believe me do a word search for "water powered cars".
You can build a hydrogen cell with stuff from walmart for under $100. I have done it, and it works. But even if you do build on, and put it in your car, your insurance company won't cover you in an accident. Why? Well is goes back to who hass the money.
Wake up America! Do a little home work before you go to the voting booth.

I don't vote a party. I vote for people so I can't answer. I saw a study (sorry I don't remember where) that indicates that the party voter has become quite rare. I think that is a good thing.

You mean Democrat or New Democrat "Republican"?

I'll vote for whoever takes sizing down government seriously and closing the borders. Republicans had both houses and the presidency and still we have a death tax.

Conservative. I'm for limited government intervention in my life, small Federal government, lowered taxation. That means I don't vote donkey or elephant...I vote whoever is most in agreeement with those three principles.

This time it's Ron Paul...whether he gets the GOP nom (unlikely) or I have to write him in come November '08...

libertarian

We cannot change human nature, and we cannot legislate or force others to be honest, thrifty, safe or intelligent. They must do it on their own or bear the consequences.

The price of liberty is far more than simple vigilance. The price includes the integrity to accept complete personal responsibility for our lives, safety, property and welfare. The price that so many find hardest to pay, however, is the integrity to leave everyone else alone to do the same.

Democrat.

I register as "Independent" but I think we've had enough Republican bumbling for a while.

They could put an orange housecat as the Democratic candidate and I'd still vote for it.

Don't hate, because you KNOW the Democrats WILL win. And it really pisses off the neo-cons.

I don't call myself either Republican or Democrat. Both sides have valuable ideas and strengths - I wish we could do away with parties. This time around I think I'm going Democrat, though, since the Rep. party has got us in this mess we're in now.
