if they kick you out before you move in, you are entitled to a FULL refund. If you already signed a lease and you did not violate it, and still want to live there, speak to a lawyer about SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE of the lease. The court CAN enforce the lease, since it is a CONTRACT.

You can get "kicked out" for a number of reasons. If you are doing something illegal, if you interfere with other tenants quiet enjoyment of the property, if you violate health and safety ordiances, if you violate rule of a condo association...there are others. But I'm too tired to look it up.

EDIT: If you havent moved in, you havent been kicked out. There may have been some contingency on your acceptance. Credit check, background check, did your check bounce? Stuff like that. If not, the answer is probably no, you should not have been "kicked out."

I was under the impression that Texas law states that they must give you 2 weeks to vacate and find another place to stay.

It depends on why you got kicked out. Give us some more information and maybe we can help.

On your lease it probably states that you can be evicted at any time that the property owner wishes.. sorry bud.

You can be evicted for other reasons than not paying rent.
