SUPER ANTI-SPYWARE is the best anti-virus and anti-spyware software I ever had!!!! And if I say the best..... I mean it will get rid all of your virus in your computer. And it doesn't cost much space on your disk. It's free too!!!!
Avast: I already tried it. It is a good anti-virus, but it will delete most your files that suspicios, like winamp or video converters. And it causes much space on the disks.
AVG: I had it. It is good, but cant get rid of all the virus in your computer.
Comodo: I tried. Like Avast, it will delete most of your files.
So try SUPER ANTI-SPYWARE.

AVG antivirus along with AVG antispyware along with a good firewall. MS firewall is useless. I've just downloaded Comodo firewall Pro, its very good .
All these come with updates.
Ps, don't use AVG antivirus and spyware program its not that good. Use AVG antivirus Free edition. Go to www.download.com. You'll need to find a good spyware program like AVG or Spybot S&D there are others to choose from. Check out the programs review b4 choosing. Get a good firewall too, my suggestion above is gr8.

There are several good ones. For the free side, Kaspersky is the highest rated with Avast and AVG following. For a small footprint and no resource waste there is PC-Cillin from Trend Micro. For a resouce waster and no support unless you pay to talk with the tech, there is Norton. For no support there is McAfee.

depends, are you gonna check your email or are you gonna go on sites with black backgrounds with white text and download make_free_money.html.swf.rar.exe?
AVG free is good for most but for getting rid of big virouses then a knoppix disk and google are your best bet (knoppix is a linux disk that installs on your ram rather than your hard drive so you can use it to get in and remove it and it has firefox (rather a dirivitive called iceweasle)) so you can get on the internet to see where the specific virous resides and delete it that was all you gots to do is remove the registry entrys in safe mode and its gone.... but this wouldnt be a substatute for an anti virous with a resident scanner like avg
