Hmmm, I figured you were deep, Wayne.
Life is a blast! First, you have to understand that none of us are going to get out of this alive. Once that is behind you, things just open wide.
Life is having a baby fall asleep on your chest. Life is the trust in your dog's eyes. Life is feeling your lover's heartbeat against your chest. Life is discovering a new color in a sunrise and another again in a sunset. Life is riding to the top of a wave in a small boat and then down again. Life is walking your horse through a herd of buffalo. Life is standing on a cliff while the the wind tries to carry you off. Life is surfing in a hurricane. Life is hunting wild hogs with a spear and a couple of good dogs. Life is having your grandson sing the "ABC Song" to you. Life is listening to the wind in the tall grass. Life is the cat purr of your wife asleep next to you. Life is seeing your face in your grandchild's.
Life is there for the living, you just have to grab it and hold on tight. And when its over, I want to slide into the grave sideways with a whiskey in one hand and a bar of chocolate in the other, yelling "I'm coming home Lord, I'm coming home."

Service to others,
a journey of your own choosing,
if you believe in an afterlife, then this life is just a "bus stop" along the way.
Do a question search "meaning of life" in the toolbar up above, and you'll get multiple perspectives. It is asked many times, in many different forms. If you don't hold to a faith or religion, then it would follow that we are cosmic accidents, and the only meaning in life is that which we give to it.
If you think there is some higher being, then you need to explore that and figure out your relationship to it.
Basicly, the ball is in your court.
P.s. those who say there is nothing after we die.... are they talking from experience? or opinion? lol....
You get to make up your own mind on that one.

I would say that life (one person's life) is a short period (in the grand scheme of things) to experience all the Earth has to offer and find happiness, without impending on anyone Else's happiness. To sum it up in a phrase... The purpose of life is to connect, love, grow, discover, and live.

My daily life activities, touching and loving and laughing and crying and keeping busy with another person that i love. A person that i love for myself other then a child, dog, friend.
Life is much happier for me to live each day if i had someone to share it with because at this present time, it seems like each day is just another day, nothing special.
My love is too far away at this present time, that is why i said what i just did.

Life is the state of being alive to me.
The word 'Life' to me means limits. Life is not eternal. Life does not last forever. Yet life is everything, and when it is over there is nothing. During life you are significant in every way, yet irrelevant. You can be anything you set your mind to, or your mind can make you anything you don't want to be.
So 'Life', to me, means the act of experiencing all that you can before death, whether that be good or bad.

A series of experience you encounter that you may or may not have control over. It's filled with various moments and you've gotta find a way to make the best of it or it will eat you alive.
