the cold and hot weather both do harmfull things to cars but new cars are built better this days just keep up on the maintenance and wash the salt and dirt from old man winter of the car if in new york

Other than sticking to your seats in TX I could not imagine too much of a difference. I would think that the crap that they put on roads during snow would be worse for your car--rust.

I believe that neither will hurt your car as long as you take good care of it. But in general the cold weather is harder on them for the most part...

The only thing that we do more of here in Texas is A/C and coolant systems. Other than that, the issues will be the same, normal wear and tear.

Proactive is much better than reactive.....:)
