I have about 4 more days until my period is suppost to be here. I'm waiting to test on the first day of my missed period. I haven't had any signs of my period showing. I usually have a 29 day cycle. I spotted once 6 or 7 days after having unprotected sex around ovulation. Me and my fiancee aren't trying to get pregnant right now we ran out of condoms. We're both reall excited about me possibly being pregnant. We can afford a child cuz we both work, graduated high school, have a stable home, and are 23. This is my second time thinking I was pregnant by the same guy. The first time I ended up not being pregnant. Are you tired of the 2 week wait? What went through your mind the first time you thought you were pregnant? If I am pregnant what should I be prepaired for? We're hoping for a girl if I am pregnant.

We wanted to start trying in a year. But we're happy if a baby comes a little earlier.

The spotting I had was a week before my period is suppost to show. It was just 5 or 6 drops of a pinkish/redish color and it only happened that once.

We'll be just as happy with a boy. We've always wanted a girl first. He comes from a family of 4 boys. But I come from a family of 3 girls and 3 boys.

I hated that 2 week wait. I pretty much knew I was pregnant as soon as my husband and I concieved this one. It killed me having to wait that long. The best thing I can say is stick it out... you'll have alot more waiting to do if you are pregnant. Sometimes it really sucks knowing early... it just means you have to "wait longer" for the baby to come. I'm only 6 weeks right now and it's killing me already waiting to find out the sex and get through my pregnancy! Good luck!

Well I think I might be pregnant and have four days till I'm due also! My boobs are aching like crazy especially when I take my bra off and I'm not on birth control either. I'm not sure if its PMS symptoms, as I'm usually on birth control which limits symptoms, because I am inbetween changing birth control.

With my first two pregnancies the first thought of being pregnant was a late period and then around 2 weeks later my boobs started getting sore and I felt nauseas but that was all. thats why I'm wondering why my boobs are sore already and I have 4 days to go!

If you really want to know either way, you can test now and it should be accurate enough but like you I am going to wait till friday (day after period due) to test to be doubly sure because a negative then should mean I am really not pregnant where as if I do it now i could be but not far enough along to show up. (i'm guessing this is your reasonging too!)

Fingers crossed for you! I'm really not sure if I want another baby as hubby and I only wanted two and we have a boy and a girl so that was supposed to be it!

If you are pregnant prepare yourself for the most terrifying but happy rollercoaster ride of your life! Its wonderful, scary and uncertain all at once! Oh and take a holiday before the baby comes or you won't do it for a very long time! Oh and boys are great too and much easier to raise or so I've found so don't be disappointed if its not a girl.

Good luck to your and your partner!

First of all, if you have already spotted it is likely that you are not pregnant. However, for many years I tried to get pregnant to no avail. The waites were heart wrinching, and sometimes heart breaking when I found out that yet another month had passed and I had not become pregnant. Patience is the key, but who is patient these days. I would try not to think about it, because if you are not pregnant, your body may go into what is called a false pregnancy because you are wanting a baby so bad. You nipples will get sore, your breast may leak and your tummy may even swell, but in reality you are not pregnant.

I do agree though that the weight is hard.

Take the First Response Test. It picks up the HCG (pregnancy hormone) at a lower level then even the doctors office. I've taking it with my pregnancies and its showing positive before my expected period. Remember any line- even a very faint one - is a line! Take the test in the morning if you are taking it before your missed period too. Good Luck!

If you think you are pregnant you should start looking at what you are eating. Some food and drink can harm the baby, also some type of exercise too. Just be careful.

Good luck, hope all goes well. Don't stress too much.

yes the 2 week wait is horrible,
my pregnancy was planned, and the first month i could of sworn i was pregnant, sadly i was not, but the second month trying i could of sworn i was not pregnant, and i was! lol

well when you get pregnant i don't think there is anything you can do to prepare for the feelings and changes you will go threw. but i suggest the book what to expect when your expecting its helped me so much, this is my first pregnancy.

also about the gender, your only concern should be a healthy baby

Try not to worry to much right now b/c it will just stress you out then that could delay your period even longer. I freaked out the first time I found out I was pregnant, I kept repeating "I can't believe it!" lol Good Luck

If you're not trying to get pregnant then why let yourselves run out of protection? Not a smart idea. But yet you're excited?

If you are preggo, you will get very sore breasts, cramping like you're gonna start your period, maybe vomiting, maybe nausea, dizziness. It depends; every woman is different.

OH-you'll probably get some food cravings too!
