2 out of every 10 girls and 1 out every 10 boys are sexualy abused by the end of their 13th year. Only 41% of child sexual abuse is reported each year. 1/3 of women in prison was abuse sexualy as a child. Who ever gets aroused by little children are sick perves that deserve to die.

If child molestation was a death penalty crime - then the molesters would still molest children- they would just kill them when they are done so there would be no witnesses. Therefore, making it a death penalty crime would not deter molestation - just give molesters an incentive to kill their victims.
I believe SC considered and may have passed such a law within the last 2 years.
I don't think it will stand up in a supreme court challenge. The penalty would probably be ruled cruel and unusual punishment.
Should repeat offenders be locked up and have the key thrown away - sure. But if they did not take the life of their victim(s) then the state should not put them to death.
Someone important to me is a rape survivor. The man that attacked her was caught and will never get out of prison. However, he did not kill her so I do not believe the state should take his life. Had he killed her - I'd be willing to pull the switch.

I do indeed think the death penalty should apply. I was raped when I was 4 years old (by a 13 year old boy whose step-father repeatedly molested him). He has gone on to be convicted 3 times, that I know of, of child molestation/rape. He keeps getting out & destroying lives. I am "OK," but the healing process is neverending, and never complete. I wasn't the only person hurt by my rape. My family was hurt as well.

for sure they should get LIFE in prison for a pre-adolesent child,
or the option to be castrated
but not when the girl is menstruating and agreed to the sex and the boy is 19. that area is very grey
right now there is boy who is 17 that is serving 10 years because a 15 year old girl decided (on her own) to give him a BJ. and she testified in court on his behalf.

definitely YES to LIFE when men molest little children ( i am not qualified to know the age range) because girls use to get married at 12 in the 1800's.

Great idea - That is a great way to administer justice to the perpetrator of such a crime. They deserve to die for such hardcore criminal act against another person.
