Because the melting ice caps dont exist. The same environmentalists who claim they do, are the same ones who prevented the controlled burning that would have prevented the fires in the first place. They love disaster, it scares people into voting for liberal causes. Unfortunately, they're no better than your common mass murderer in that respect. How many people have the fires now killed or put out of their homes?

If most of the answers on this question are an indicator, maybe there's hope for rational men. I'm encouraged to see that there are others not so quick to buy into the HCGW [expensive / anti-man / deadly] farce.
(most of the ice cap ice floats, and even if it was melting, would not be capable of raising water levels, but we all know that)

LOL you mean the wildfires caused by global warming? I went up to see the glaciers in Alaska last month. The "naturalist" on the cruise ship said that while some of the glaciers are shrinking, many others are growing. There is evidence that the ebb and flow is cyclical. Duh!

You cons are all heart....Nice to hear how concerned you are about the victims of the fires. There are plenty of places for humor and satire, BUT THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!. It's really no wonder so many people are finally going back to the party of the people, instead of the party of the sheeple! Hope you can sleep at night...in your own beds!
