I would love them both and not choose sides. Afterall, I'm not a part of everything that happens in their marriage and do not know all the details. I would be sad for my dad.. and might wonder what on earth my mother was thinking.. but, at the end of the day, she is still my mom and he is still my dad and I'd love them both.

Add: uh, hun.. not to get too personal here.. but with your new posting about the heart condition / blood pressure meds.. have you considered that many of these type of meds make it difficult if not impossible for a man to obtain or maintain an erection. I'm not saying that your mom should be cheating.. I just didn't know if you were aware that they can impact one's ability to have sex.

I am so sorry you are in this situation. Your heart must be pulling you in so many directions. I wish there was one answer that would make it all better but there is not. If you tell your father you will have guilt. If you don't you will have guilt. I think maybe your mom is going through a tough time and made a mistake. You could talk to her and tell her how you are feeling. If your dad doesn't already know I don't know if I would let on. He may know and just not want anyone else to know (men have a big pride thing). Talk to your mom but let her tell your dad if anyone is going to. I hope you all get through this.

Stay out of it. Your Mother is human and I presume is caring for your Dad. I also guess that your Dad is either terminal or can not have sex. Leave you Mother alone. She has to take care of him, work, raise kids, keep house, and if during all of this she can find an hour or so to do things to help her keep her sanity, so be it. It is none of your business.

1.) Tell her off and remind her that she should be more mature. She's suppose to know that cheating is not the answer to her problem with your dad. 2.)Take care of your dad to your best ability. Good luck.

no one knows what goes on behind closed doors except the ones behind it. some medications for hb can cause impotence or loss of desire. if mom is out and about, maybe she cant tolerate being alone (not making excuses) and she sees her husband as a sick frail man who cant console her on her loss of a relationship. soooo many things can be said as to why and how come. only mom knows and maybe dad does too. but dont get sucked into it. it will cause you to turn on one or both of your parents and you may regret it later on down the road. but good luck to you

now what is your father sick from, can he give your mother the physical attention she needs, does your mother still show affection to your father, if your father is terminally ill, then I am sorry, but your mother has needs, as long as all she is getting is satisfication not getting involved emotionally, my wife went elsewhere, because I wasn't giving her the physical sides of married life, it was my fault not her fault that she went elsewhere, people need some attention later in life, if this is the case, allw her this small enjoyment, as long as she is looking after you and your dad,

Shes her own person so she probs won't. I'd be a little nervous too. But you might not have a very strong relationship because obviously you don't trust her. Might wanna talk ringer about trust and stuff

personally....think about being in you fathers shoes...what wouldn't u like to know if your wife cheated?..,..in my opinion tell him because its not fair for your sick father to stay with a cheating ***** like your mom...he deserves someone who really cares about him....don't let him live a lie and do not give your mom the satisfaction of laughing of your dad when she is sleeping with the other one...please tell him...be a Good Son
