I assume you are talking about college? Depends on the college, most have a fall semester from sept - dec, spring semester from Jan-may . Some have a summer semester as well, but it is usually split up into concentrated courses (regular semester course compacted into 4-6 weeks). Mine does a May - June and July - aug and a mid-term overlapping course June -july.
