what would you think if someone was a "galactic hitchhiker" for halloween, like from hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy? that's basically what i have, though i'm considering just saying i'm "from the future"
(its a pretty cool costume, all silvery with bright colours, converse and my towel!!)

Crazy! That's what I was last year!
Well, I started out being a space pirate, but then the pirate aspects of my outfit kind of didn't go that well with the rest of it, so I picked up my towel and told people I was from the future.
I got mistaken for a raver, though. That was weird.

Sounds fine to me, some years back I had seen a movie with David Bowie in it called, "The Man Who Fell to Earth". He was dressed all silvery white with sparkling silver hair. At the last minute I had been invited to a Halloween party, which that was the first thing that stuck in my mind. I had a sliver jump suit, powdered my hair and silver sprinkles in it with hairspray, then took some silver spray to my boots that I had. It ended up winning first place prize at the party! So I say Go For It!
