Bushies is not MY term.
Kyle Sampson - Gonzales chief of staff
""Sampson wrote, "we would like to replace 15-20 percent of the current U.S. Attorneys -- the underperforming ones . . . The vast majority of U.S. Attorneys, 80-85 percent, I would guess, are doing a great job, are loyal Bushies, etc., etc."

Because they're very mindful of how important it is to look good. They are not mindful at all of how important it is to DO good!

If you look at history, Stalin, Kim Jong-yil, Hitler and others all use government reporters to make themselves look better. They will ask questions like, how is it that the great leader is able to help so many people? Or they will say how is it that the birds sing and flowers bloom when the great leader is around? This is what is happening in our country. All fascists states begin this way. We are already there but the American people would rather sit on their butts then do something about it. Congress sure as hell won't do S**T about it...The Dems are P**sies and the GOP is a bunch of fudge packing Bush supporters!

I think some bureaucrat stupidly thought it would be an efficient way to put out the information they wanted to disseminate. Attributing any more intelligent motive to it would be overestimating the capacity of FEMA management.

Other than the habitual dishonesty of the Bush administration, you mean?

Well, here's my guess (and at this point its a guess, lets be clear)-I think FEMA has already screwed the pooch again and was trying to start the "spin" game early to cover their a**es.

Maybe not--but we'll see. It's sure the way to bet!

Because they wanted to answer specific questions instead of the real questions that the real press might ask.

You are funny with this "bushies" stuff. It just sounds so . . . well childish and pathetic.

We all know that in your mind Dick Cheney made a call to Bush who then made a call to the boss, of the boss, of the boss, of the person who was organizing the press conference and that's how this whole thing happened . . .you've got it all figured out! We're lucky to have you!

Typical anti democratic, untruthful GOP tactic. I guess we should be used to these jerks but they DO never cease to amaze.
