f(x)=x-2/x+2
f(x)=15

x-2/x+2=15
x-2=15(x+2)
x-2=15x+30
x-15x=30+2
-14x=32
x=32/-14
= -16/7
= -2 2/7

15 = x-2/x+2
15 (x+2) = x-2
15x + 30 = x - 2
14x = -32
x = -16/7
I don't think g(x) has anything to do with this problem.

x is not 2 abs made a mistake.
During
15x + 30 = x -2 he subtracted 2 on both sides, but you were supposed to add 2 to cancel the -2.

Subsitute in 2, if you still don't belive me, and you'll find f(x)=0 not 15

just plug in x as 15 so 15-2/15+2. g(x) doesn't matter
