Ahh the eighties. All the chicks in the eighties wore what Madonna, The Go Go's, The Bangles, and Blondie wore. Just google these names and check out the images ... especially pics of "Madonna 80". Her look back then was the real big trendsetter. If you want to go real outrageous, then google images of "Cindy Lauper 80". She was uber righteous.
If you're going with a guy, make sure he wears an Izod shirt with a Members Only jacket ... or anything that appered on the original "Miami Vice" show. Good days!

Lots of blue eyeshadow, leg warmers, a stonewashed mini shirt, and tease that hair to the heavens, but don't forget to smack gun, and wear big hoop earrings!!

Giant hair with "ear tunnels," huge plastic earrings, acid washed jeans, you can probably find some at the second hand store

leg warmers, neon items, huge hair are always a good start! So are sweatshirts cut off at the top, so they hang off the shoulder and bright earrings.

curl up your hair and use tight jeans with the bottom torn. use one of those watcha-call-em blue sweaters with the jean texture...and a black shirt on the bottom with black high heels. voila!
