1. No that is not the reason.

2. I had surgery Feb 2006 and my scars are barely noticeable.

Think of it this way, would you rather have NO BACK PAIN and a few little barely noticeable scars, or tremendous back pain and no scars?

I went from a 38J to a 38C and do not regret it one bit, my scars are barely noticeable. If guys don't like what they see, they can go to hell. They should love you for YOU and not dislike you because of scars. My fiance was 100% supportive of me and my reduction surgery.

3. Losing weight MAY help. Since you say you are overweight you could lose in the breast. That is, if you have more fatty tissue than dense breast tissue. If your breasts are more dense, you will NOT lose in the breast when losing weight and a reduction is the only way to go (the route I had to take).

You can try weight loss, but it might not reduce the size of your breasts. I lost 60 pounds and my breasts stayed the same size. The rest of me got smaller, so I ended up in a smaller band size and a larger still cup size. I don't know that those pills are really going to work or not. I never tried them. I finally had reduction surgery done, and it was wonderful!! I could finally find cute clothes that fit in the bust area. However, I may not be able to breast feed if I have children as the surgeon removed some milk glands and such. This really wasn't a concern for me, and still isn't. (My mom was raised on formula and turned out just fine.) I love looking for bras now, and swim suits, and everything, even five years later! It was definitely worth the pain and discomfort. I had no complications, either, which helped too.

I have an idea of what you mean, so I will try to be as helpfull as posible:
1. Even if your mom has small breast, your parents (mom and dad) could put that gen in you (genetics could be a bit complicated but in simple words, you have all kind of things hidden that you can give to your kids, for example your children could get small breast as your mom even when you have big ones). So maybe there is someone else in your family history with big breast. It could be also some new expression in your family that will start with you.

2. and 3. It would be a bit hard, because all breast reductions with plastic surgery will leave scars, (it depends on your specific case to see how big they would be and how you heal to see if they are going to be that obvious) the thing with weight loss is that they may be smaller but there is a chance that they keep sagging because the excess of skin.

What I suggest?? You should lose weight slowly with a nutritionist if is possible to help you to do it one step at the time and giving time to your skin to adapt to the changes. Then after that, if your continue having the same problems (that make you hate your breast) specially the pain, consult a doctor and your parents about your situation and evaluate if you want to go for it.

All the best!!

I understand your situation all too well, as I am 37 years old with 38 DD breasts. All of the cute tops at Target and the popular stores, I cannot wear. Men have ogled my chest for years, even though I try to hide what I have.
Being that you are so young, weight loss, even 5 pounds could reduce your cup size. A few years ago, I went down to 142 and I'm 5-10. My cup size went down to a full C. I was able to wear the cute bras from Victoria's Secret and the cute tops. Unfortunately, I gained the weight back from steroids for asthma, but I will lose it again. Before you resort to surgery, maybe consider losing a few pounds. With this said, you may be in a healthy weight frame already, just depends on how tall you are. Genetics does play a role in how big our breasts get.
Have you tried the minimizer bras? I feel like I am smaller when I wear them. Playtex has a great minimizer for about 20 dollars, so does Olga and the popular bra lines. Don't despair, sweetie. I bet all the girls at school wish they had what you have. Take care.

1.Even if Large breast like aunts or even someone on your dads side of the family have then it can be genetic.
2. Actually breast reduction is one of the most commen surgeries in women so alot of times it don't leave scares. 3.Sometimes it depends on how tall you are and how much each boob weighs. Say if you are 5'7-5'9 it is normal to weigh that much some of this weight is there to help you hold your boobs. I would talk to your doctor about the problems your having.

im sorry for the pain and uncofortableness, but be proud! Im not saying you shouldn't get them reduced if you dont want to, but most girls would kill for what you have. And about the scars and boys not liking what they see...if your breasts are that big, you sounds beutiful, and no boy will EVER say no to you if you get sexually involved. Fear not.
