Sims 2 Stuff Packs - Help please!?

Ok, well I've known for a long time that the Sims 2 come out with expansion packs and stuff packs, and I have every single expansion pack out, but im not sure if i want to get a stuff pack or not? Can anyone tell me what stuff packs do to the Sims 2, and if they are totally different games, or they just are packs of items and stuff like that?

The stuff packs are basically cheaper "expansion" packs. There are two major differences between the expansion packs and the stuff packs.

Expansion packs add in all new game play, new interactions, new objects, sometimes new clothes and hairstyles too.
The stuff packs only offer a few items. Around 60 compared to the normal 125 new items included in expansion packs. Stuff packs usually only offer new objects that go along with the packs' theme(s), new clothes, and new hairstyles, but no interactions.

Also, while the expansion packs usually sell for around $30 each, the stuff packs usually sell for about $15-$20 each.

I have all of the expansion packs except for Seasons, and I have several stuff packs (Family Fun and Holiday). I can say that I enjoy the stuff packs, although if you get them with high expectations, you'll be dissapointed. If you are just looking to add a small something extra to the game, they are a great way to go. If you are looking for a major addition to the game, then keep with the expansion packs. Some people find the stuff packs are a waste of money if you consider that you only get 60 objects, but for those people who can't add expansion packs to their computer, it's a good trade off.

Stuff Packs have furniture and clothes and things. They add to your game. I got every single expansion for The Sims 1 and i've got all the expansions and stuff packs for The Sims 2. They give you more choices.

The stuff packs are just more choices in the game. Such as more clothes in the create a sim area, or better furniture. The stuff packs are good when you want to have more things in sims.
