Rainy Season ..?

Question

Do all parts of the world have same rainy season?
On what factors do rainy season depend?

Is it always just after summer?

I don't get this rain basics at all..

Do rains occur because clouds condense or because winds hit mountains?

Before rain can occur clouds have to form that occurs when the dew point reaches the LCL (lifting condensation level) producing clouds thats the beginning of the process. The scientific name and explanation of how rain forms is called the Bergeron Process. Rain will grow large enough to fall and hit other rain droplets on the way down and grow larger this is called collision coalescence process. When clouds can no longer hold the rain it falls and because of friction (air) if breaks up in to different sizes between 1-5 mm. Drizzle and mist is smaller then that Drizzle is from about .5mm-.9mm and mist is smaller then .5mm.

No, different parts of the world definitely have different rainy seasons. There are two main types of storms that produce rain: frontal storms and convective storms. Frontal storms depend on temperature differences between the tropics and the regions closer to the poles, and are typically stronger during the cooler seasons (winter and spring), and these storms approach closer to the equator during that time of year. Convective storms depend on a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and on daily heating, so they are less prevalent in winter. Some areas (like the west coasts of continents away from the equator) have very little convective rainfall and so they get most of their rain in cool seasons. On the other hand, areas near the equator rely on convection for most of their rainfall, so they have their rainy season when the sun is high in the sky. Other places may be transitional and get both types of rain, so they get rain throughout the year.
