Next week I am going to SanDiego, how about the weather to go to the beach?

go to the beach or ocean?
if you wanna go to the beach, and sit and look at the ocean, it shouldnt be too bad, unless it happens to be a real cold day, the most you'll need is a light sweater.
If you actually want to go in the water it will be a little cool. Unless you live in an area where people go swiming in really cold rivers and lakes thenthe ocean will be cool this time of year. If you wanna go swimming, id invest in a wet suit.
Try ths, when you get here, go play in the waves, if your feet get used to it within a minute ir 2 take the plunge and go play. Just make sure you drag your feet or wear water shoes. We have sting rays, Not lethal, but hurts to be stung.

Next week it is supposed to be partly cloudy and in the upper 60's in the early part of the week and mostly sunny and in the low 70's during the latter half of the week. Sometimes it takes awhile for the clouds to burn off at the beach, so make sure to bring a light jacket because the cool ocean breezes can be cold in the morning and late afternoon and evening hours. A note to remember however, is that if you can plan the day you go to the beach, I would suggest going in the later part of the week to allow the smoke to clear. The fires in this area have been blowing the smoke to the west toward the coast and the air quality isn't the best right now. With each passing the day, the air is getting better.

It's always very cool in the morning and evening so pack for layering, make sure you have a light jacket or sweater with you. Enjoy - October/November is a nice time to be here.

My guess it will be nice. I was going to go visit my aunt thre, but its a no go with the wild fires
