how can i redecorate my bedroom to make it simple, clean, and peaceful. i have to have my computer and tv in it. but what other stuff should i do?

1] pick your favorite 'calm, peaceful' colors - two or three.
2] get rid of everything in your room you don't love. Donate it, store it [ if you can't repace it, or it has sentimental value ], or throw it out!
3] store 'stuff' in underbed storage containers, and use shelf dividers in closet to store: winter hats, scarves, gloves, mittens; sweaters; Tshirts; and summer accessories - hats, sunglasses, totes.
4] first, pick out bedding and curtains, in a solid, or quiet print.
5] choose favorite light color in print for walls.
6] choose second fav for floors, or rug; and reading chair.
7] use wall, floor, and third color for small accessories: toss
pillows, lamps, vases, ornaments, flower-pots, candles/holders.
8] Desk: need lamp, keep only pretty containers out for pens/pencils, etc. Store desk accessories in top drawer.. Store papers, folders, in bottom drawer. Keep 'works in progress' in middle drawer, or in specially colored folders.
9] keep a pretty jewelry box, and maybe a lamp on dresser.
10] could add a vase with flowers for one surface [ dresser? ], and a pretty candle for another [ bed table? ]

well. i wanted the same thing.. so what i did was i painted my walls a very very very pale light pink..so it was soft, and i got white bedroom furniture, and tried 2 keep it all 2 a minimal, and if i didnt use anything i got rid of it, so my room is clear.. like my dresser and vanity dont have much products and items on top, so eveything is hidden u know? and my bed i got a lavendar and pink floral ( it sounds tacky, but its not a busy floral) it was by shabby chic.. and actually, my while room is designed like shabby chic, very light and cool, and comfy, goodluck with ur room ! remember, keep everything 2 a minimal, u dont want shelves and items and thing like that everywhere

im a wall decorator. pics i painted or drew, posters, xmas lights decked around it, things hanging from the ceiling, my fav pics out of magazines. go to a craft shop and pick out stuff you like and just play with it
