Make sure you have a great pair of jeans that fits you perfectly. Try american eagle brand.

first of all, check out web sites with info on what clothes to wear for your particular body size and shape. if you are slender to moderate in size, i agree with the previous answers in regards to american eagle. uggs, however, aren't that cute. sweater boots are in now.
