Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some regsitry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".
Everytime you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Regisry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically! It even can speed up your computer by 300% or more!

Two things. First, turn off automatic update for your anit-virus, and also for Windows. Both of these can cause slowdowns and reboots, as they run in the background.
Second, download and run spybot search and destroy, it is a free spyware killer, and also download and run combofix, which is a virus cleaner and registry fixer.
If the automatic update fixes the slowdown, turn them back on change the update times to at time when you wont be using the pc, and just be sure to leave it on for those times.

Have you deleted all your Temporary Internet Files, Recycle Bin files, and Defragmented lately? Run your anti-malware programs religiously? If so, I might be going out on a limb here, but maybe Windows Genuine Advantage Tool is messin' up again. Try a good registry cleaner.
