Eliminate all the spaces and you should be OK.

The first 5 numbers are the transit number.
The rest is the account number.

Just make sure you keep a minimum ballance of 1 cent in the account unless you are making a purchase, and speak firmly with the bank about making transfers without your authorisation. I'm not saying that Pay Pal would steal the money from your (chequing) account...but the last thing you want them to do is freeze and confisacte your money because someone complained you hadn't paid them. :D (It happens...regularily. Read the site rules.)

PayPal didn't ask for my cheque number. They just wanted my account number. If you enter it without spaces or dashes, it should work.
