It's Sunday where I am and so far I've done little or nothing but feed the cat and spend time on the internet answering email and here at Answers and at the Group site.
Later will get dressed and go see my Mom at the Assisted Living Center where she resides and afterward stop at the store and pick up something for dinner.
I'm recuperating from a respiratory illness and have a follow up appt with the doc tomorrow a.m., then on to work afterward.
Not an exciting day...but hey I'm alive today!

After church, I get to do all the things I ignored yesterday. I declared Saturday a day of do-nothing. I get to buy groceries, straighten out files, and all kinds of things I'd rather not do. Then we have a home bible-study group to join at 5:30. Those are actually fun, except they are supposed to last an hour and even if only 6 people show up, by the time everybody gets past the gab-fest it's 8:30 before we get back home! Tomorrow morning I teach Sunday School to 1st ans 2nd graders. Then I'll be rushing home to clean my house, do laundry etc. because my husband is returning from a ten day elk hunting trip. I had great plans for accomplishment when he left but know what? I spent most of it here on the couch, watching TV, playing YA and reading, oh yeah, eating. It's been a wonderful vacation but good things must come to an end. In the evening I'll be listening to his stories about "the one that got away".

Well I am hoping to be playing with some hillbillies on here tomorrow night. I'll need some serious entertainment, after a day spent doing the yard work that I have been putting off for the last month.

As I'm still recovering from my knee replacement surgery a couple of weeks ago, I will have my puppies, reading material, makeup, fresh bottle of water, telephone etc on my bed with me as I rest on and off. I will walk the dogs down to the pool with my walker ( one at a time as I can't walk them together yet) do my exercises provided by my physical therapist at least three different times, pay my bills on the computer, and watch the TV in the bedroom. My daughter, granddaughter and little great grandson will visit for awhile as
well. I'll sit outside in my yard and enjoy our beautiful fall weather ( east Texas) for awhile and do some crossword puzzles. That's pretty much it and I'm very much looking forward to it......

On Sunday: attend church. Drop some books off at the library. Make a few phone calls. Put gas in the car.

I teach a Sunday School class for 4th - 6th graders. Then church. And after that, a potluck lunch. And then a short meeting of the church members nomination committee, setting up our officers for next year.
Finally, a nap.

I will have to finish tomorrow what I started doing today when the power went off. We lost power today cause someone hit the transformer, power was out for about a hour and half. But I will get up in the morning, finish doing my laundry, get it put away. Clean out my freezer, and finish cleaning my tiny trailer. And also I will make supper for my parents.
