I sure do. The Bop was the first Rock and Roll dance I learned. I was in the forth grade.

Yes, Remember it well. We danced the Bop and the Sugarfoot, the Bunny Hop was common and we were threatened with expulsion if we even started to do the Dirty Boogie...

Sure do. But I didn't remember it went back to '57. I thought
it was more like 59 or 60. But that's what happens when you
start losing your memory as an old timer. LOL. I'm glad I saw
the year it became popular. So now I know!

I never really liked vincent. I remember Be Bop a Lula--she's my baby, be bop a Lula I don't mean maybe, Be bop a lula she ee e's my baby love my baby love. don't know who sang it, old brain cells. ;0)

This doesn't ring a bell at all for me, but isn't he the one who sang "be bop a lula"? He just looks and sounds so familiar....?

the first dance i did was the peppermint twist then the beer barrel polka 1961 and 2 when i met my wife we danced to billyjean i did the rock freak by chic

That is the year I was born. Dont remember it ,but sure enjoyed watching something that happened in 1957.
