A book thats good for me are the ones with sequals or series. for example twilight series by Stephenie Meyer or harry potter j.k. rowling. i read sort of fast (well... lets just say i have a lot of extra time to burn) im not really fond of extremelly romantic stuff either but if its really good, im all for it. a like mysterious, little romance stashed to it, funny, little scary, overly suspense, science fiction with a plot. just anything that a high school student might be interested in. and something that relates to real life wheather school relationship, even if it has a fantasy and not really real. something a high school student can relate to.

please help me out, i get really restless when im not reading anything. just any book that i can relate to anything at all dont hesitate to tell me. please....

THE LORD OF THE RINGS is the greatest book in the English language. Rowling and others could not imagine in their wildest dreams writing like Tolkien. The movies are okay but the book (it is essentially one text) is far better, interweaving mythology, poetry and epic adventure. I read it at least once a year (as does Christopher Lee, the actor who played the villain Saruman in the Jackson films). You can start with THE HOBBIT, which I re-read recently and thought was much better than I previously believed. Stick with the classics and the originals, not the poor imitators!

Try Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series. I think it's already in it's 12th book (including the prequel). I haven't read any of them since I'm not into that type of genre. But I buy them as gifts to a friend. I don't know, though, if Robert Jordan got to finish the series before he passed away.

My teen and her friends were into the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. Start with "One for the Money" and go from there.
