John Brown ran his mouth so long he started believing the
same blather that convinced others that armed rebellion
against the United States of America was not only possible but that people out of earshot of his stupidity would suddenly
assemble into a collective body for like-action. Truth was a
rope around his neck after previous 'truths' helped kill more than were saved. God cast John Brown down. His freedom was an untimely grave for himself and others. Abolutionist
blather put to melody found the best use for John Brown after his treasonous demise. Southrons, in 'Dixie', had a sweeter
tune for their rebels. Rebels, of any stripe, find in rebellion
a battle of convictions. None but the Founding Fathers of America have proved their convictions worthy by rebellion.

He raided Harpers Ferry. I think when he was caught, he was tarred and feathered.
