I find it amazing how 2 people in the beginning of a relationship, can start off so well. Like 95%of people do. But then it can slowly desends into something else entirely. Why is it that we're suppose to live for the good, but end up knee deep in the bad? Almost without effort, the NEGATIVE can be switched on like a magic-trick! There's a women on here I remember saying that she divorced her husband cause she "borded and needed varity. " Just tossed her marriage, husband aside like that. . . That kind of stuff really gets to me. What if my "wife" told me that one day? Did she really even care? Was she a waste of my emotions? You know what's sayin'?

What is it? Is it because we're too selfish, people are too lazy. Was there never love to begin with? Does love exist? I know this is kind of rambling and I apologize. So I'll go back to my initial question.

Why is that the negative, always so much easier then the positive in life?

THOUGHTS?

It takes a great amount of work to find the positive and almost no effort to find the bad.

I think that LOVE does really exist in many ways. In the past it was not so easy to slip into divorce. We have made stupid laws so that divorce no longer depended on proof of fault.

We have made our lives so public and advertise to the world our true "colours" without shame. We are in so much of a hurry that there is no time to develop a real relationship. Children don't seem to matter any more.

I think it will spell the end of society as we know it when these children grow up.

True Love needs work, encouragement, caring and sharing and understanding. I think you will find it in time.

The answer is quite simple, it takes less effort to do nothing than it does to make are relationship work.Relationships, even good ones, have their ups and downs. The road is seldom straight and often there are detours along the way that require patience, respect.trust, understanding, compromise and forgiveness. You will not always agree and that is part of being human. It is easy to love someone ,the emotional part of a relationship but it is harder to like someone everyday throughout the course of the daily routine. Most of life is not filled with drama but the mundane. The world has become so busy that couples must make time for each other. My parents had a long marriage(almost 60 years) and I've been married almost 33 years. There are good relationships out there .It sounds like you would like to find that special someone someday but your concerns about cheating and trust are stopping you.Sometimes you just have to "live life" and not be worried about "what if".No one can guarantee you a loving relationship or that you will never be hurt, but I can tell you that one day you may regret that you never even tried. The only thing to fear is fear itself is an old saying but still is very true.I can tell you that love and happiness will always elude you if you are running in a different direction.

love is an essence to life - people are taught or told - or dafter still believe that love just comes to them.

It doesnt.

Its something that takes effort, sweat, tears and dare I say even blood. And more important time.

Same as anything else thats positive - the only thing that comes to you, thats easy is negativity, like water that stays still in a pond - it becomes stagnant and finally full of poison.

Worse still are people that walk round with a sense of entitlement I deserve to be loved - then when they feel they arent getting it their way anymore - go else where (which is all fine and well but what happened to give and take after the chase and the high emotion part of the relationship finally dwindled?) For too many love is a high energy thing.

Great positivity like great loving relationships are something that you do - not something that happens to you. With out the two way - theres no way.

Dont hope these things happen to you - decide that you will do them.
And do what you can to make sure the person your lovin and spending time with thinks the same ways. (not just how they speak but how they act - you'll know it when you see it without convincing yourself that its there - you know what I mean).

I don't work like that. I spend a lot of time seeing positive that isn't actually there. That's why the negative, when I feel or experience it, is so much worse and more of it. Maybe other people are that way too, to some extent. Though I've met some idiots or selfish people who get "borded" like that woman you described. I try to comfort them, and get them back on the right path, even if I want them to stray a little from the supposedly right path (married to selfish lout is still MARRIED,) coz it's wrong of them to leave for something so stupid as being "borded." Don't you think? Yes, life is too short to be miserable, but at the same time, there is never a need to be miserable when you can try to be sweet and get on with things....

Like how you think. :-)
