The only thing you need to understand is that when you're worried about an animal you need to TAKE IT TO A VET, not turn to a computer! Get this rabbit to a vet this very minute if it isn't already too late.

Chalice

EDIT: Oh right, thumbs down for telling the possible truth, of course. Those 'hiccups' could well be agonal breathing, i.e the last gasps of its life. I really hope you got to a vet in time!

omg i would suggest you see a vet. im like like everyone else saying go see a vet. because i just brought my bunny rabbit to a vet, if we notcied earlier his breathing thing when he was running was funky, he might have been a lot better than he is know. he has a respitory problem. your bunny rabbit might be sarting. if you don;t take him to the vet, and he gets worse i suggest you using baytril, its a powerful antibiotic that you can give orally, keep it refridgerated to keep the bitter taste a way a bit. ok. so if u go to the vet and she/he says his fine, than you know that you were conceredned and did a good thing, and of he did have something, you did a good job going fast, before he was exposed to some bacteria infection or something. take care of your rabbit, don't wait until its too late, and its harder to take care oh him/her. the faster you notice something wrong, the faster it can be treated and less the bunny will have to suffer himself. my bunny rabbit has to be syringe fed know. so please do your rabbit a favour, and dont worry about money problems.

Good-Luck.

EDIt: NEVER EVER LISTEN TO PEOPLEWHO SAY PUT YOUR RABBIT DOWN! they have no right to kill your rabbit, you have to try as hard as you can NEVER GIVE UP OF SOMETHING IS WRONG. TRY EVERY SINGLE OPTIONS, VET CANT DO ANYTING ABOUT IT, DO CRITICAL RESEARCH ON UR OWN, DONT ALWAYS RELY ON TEHE VET IF SOMETHING HAPPENS. even f the bunny suffers its still life, help them get through this together, if you have faith hope and prayer towards your rabbit, your rabbit will sense something from you, like this feeling of you wanting him to live and survive, and they wont give up. the only time you can put a rabbit down is if they are major suffering, u cant look at it, it makes u cry, no chocies left, hes hurt, terrible shape, u just staretd, dont listen to those stupid people on the internet who have no rabbit ezxpperience, they are just talking for points. always be their for ur rabbit, f u are u wont need it to be put down. please take good care of your rabbit and make the right choices.

Take him to the vet right away. If it is after business hours there is probably a small animal hospital near you that you can take him to. Don't wait. Take good care of him and I hope he will be all right. Let us know.

Did you make it to the vet?

You need to take your bunny to the Veterinarian.
It could be several reasons.

A reaction to something your bunny should not have eaten.

Respitory difficulty, allergy, etc...

Heart difficulty.
