If Goodwill is the same as the Charity Stores (Op. Shops) here then no. Here the shops have signs that say "Choose carefully. The goods are second hand and do not come with guarantees". However having said that, if it just not working, you can ask. But it is up to them if they say yes or no.

Generally you can exchange the item (with receipt) but no cash refund. It may depend on your local store policy.

Yes, you give the items back, and they sell the items again. Whatever you give them you must give freely and without reservation or secret muttering.

Their policy should be written on the receipt or you could call the store to ask them what their policy is.

Yes! You can re-donate just about anything! I don't think they have a refund policy though. So don't embarrass yourself.
