what was the most boring world series of all time in your opinion? the 04' series was pretty pathetic, but i would have to go with this years 2007 world series. as a lifelong rockies fan (only 19 though), it's getting really old how the red sox jump 20 runs before the 4th inning even starts. aghhhh

well i hated the 2005 series. im a huge astros fan and they got swept by them sox. what pissed me off though was when houston went home, bud selig wouldnt let them keep the roof closed which was a huge advantage for the stros! he ruined it for us!

2007. And the 2005 series was exciting. In Game 1, Sox had it all the way. But in Game 2, you had different leads in the ballgame and Paul Konerko's grand slam and Scott Podsednik's walk-off homer when he didn't hit a homer all season. And in Game 3, 14 innings of action, Geoff Blum walk-off in the 14th. And good defenseby Juan Uribe in Game 4 in the stands and a pitching duel. Great series!

Sorry, I'm a White Sox fan!

The Yankees-Mets series of 2000 wasn't too fascinating. Oakland-Los Angeles in 1974 was something of a snoozer (speaking as an old guy).

This year, Game 2 was a really good one and Game 3 had some moments of tension, at least.

i think the most boring world series of all time well at least my lifetime (22 years) had to be the year the white sox and astros played in the world series. at least this year there is a team with a big fan base in it (Red Sox).

2005 was a snoozer, and I follow the Astros. They couldn't hit, and the pitching was good enough to keep every game close (two two-run margins, two one-run margins) but it was like... nothing... ever... happened... in any of the games. Thirty-six innings of insomnia cure. Oh well.

Bagwell's last time on the diamond, not impressive, but at least he had a final waltz on the big stage.

1998 was pretty dull, but that was because the Yankees were SOOOO GOOD (seriously) that the outcome was inevitable, it was just a matter of the Padres showing up and making their outs like gentlemen. That team was a hurricane.

Its only boring because the Rockies are an embarrassment so far. They don't even belong there.
