I would rather feel wanted by my significant other. I think wanting someone is more of an active choice, like you enjoy the time you spend with that person. On the other hand, someone needing you may be something that is not something special about you as a person, but rather the other person's fear of being alone. While the fear of being alone is a valid feeling, it really doesn't do much for my sense of worth.

I'd have to say wanted. You can be needed by a lot of people, but that doesn't really mean they care about you. I want to be passionately and desperately wanted.

I think that wanting becomes need. And when we are in love, our partner becomes the object of that love and desire which is our want and need. I want my husband because he is the love of my life. I need him because he completes me in a way I wasn't before. But it is all MY choices in who I want and need. It's all about having the balance of love... want... need... and desire. Great question! It got me to thinking! á¦â¥á¦â¥á¦

Wanted. I'm my own person, if someone feels like they need me, it's: A) sad, and B) saddening that I can't always be there for them.

i know my husband needs me i do EVERYTHING for him so i think i would need to know that i was still WANTED!!
