He has already bitten off more than he can chew. However in the context of your question the American people will never condone a war with Iran. Unless of course another massive terrorist attack should happen to make them fearful again.

He's already destroying the military by refusing a draft and re-deploying the troops over and over, against their wills. He obviously didn't learn a thing from Vietnam, we will never win a conflict against an idea fought by guerrilla warfare. The cost of this conflict alone is destroying our economy. Borrowing money from the largest and strongest communist country in the world is never a good idea. He will have an extremely hard time convincing America we need to invade Iran also. He has lost all the credibility he had right after nine-eleven. Most of America no longer believes him and his support in congress is steadily waning.

He already did. Hopefully the Democrats can start undoing a lot of the damage on 01/20/2009, but based on how little they've done so far, I have little hope. At least things won't get any worse.

He has already bit off more then he can chew.

He declared mission accomplished almost 5 years ago.

If mission was accomplished how come we have 150,000 troops there now?

If he attacks Iran, it will start WWIII.

Bush never learned a thing from his mistakes with Iraq. There's no doubt in my mind that he will repeat those same mistakes with Iran. To paraphrase "Those that don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them over and over."
