"Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you...
I loved you so...
'twas Heaven here with you"

I will make a video, to be shown at my funeral. Asking everyone to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, and then recite Christina Rossetti's poem: - "Remember me when I am gone away". Tell my children and family how much I loved them and my friends. And say nicely "what you saw, was what you got".

And end with the song: - "I wish you blue birds in the the spring" etc. Don't know what it is called.

Hope I don't have to do that soon. Second scan on lung coming up on the 1st November! Would love lots of flowers around, because I LOVE flowers. Then just bury me anywhere there is a spare space, and go and enjoy and embrace life.

What I would like to be read at my memorial service, no epitaph since cremation is the option I have chosen::

She truly loved and cared the all people of this world
She had compassion and understanding for all
She loved to make you smile, laugh and have fun
She was awestruck by the beauty of Gods world and His creations and loved all the creatures that were put on this earth
She wanted to touch peoples lives in a positive way and make a difference by helping others
She was your friend and she loved you
A mother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin

I would like to be cremated and have my ashes
spread in 3 places, North Woods of Wisconsin, over my parents graves in Miami Beach and scattered in Charleston

I'm being cremated, but when they scatter my ashes, I've asked my family to play the song, 'Bang A Drum' that Jon Bon Jovi sings with the late, great Chris Ledoux. I picked the song out before I saw the video, but after seeing it I knew it really was perfect, it contained so many of the things I love.

I have a round stone already made. My brother works at a stone place and made it. Has the dates I was born, when I died and my name with the words, this where I stopped last.

Eternally resting in this beautiful wooden urn are the ashes of one hot woman!

Or

She is more alive in death than in the last years of her life

Or

Loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Once God's wild child
Forever God's special angel
Believe and you will understand

I will be cremated. Ashes spread on the beach at the waterline where our family vacationed for years.

My epitaph will be written in the hearts of those I love and those who love me.

My grave marker will be one which doesn't permit embellishment with an epitaph. However, should my survivors decide to get a different type for me it would read:
"I came. I saw. I left, filled with the wonder of God's world".

I won't go in the ground, I will be a shake and bake. I think I would say--She lived, she laughed, she loved, she reproduced and she died. No service, for sure. Short and sorta sweet. ;0)

"I lived. I had no regrets. I hurt a few along the way and for that I am sorry. I died, but then again, we all will sooner or later. "
What else is there to say? Goldwing
