If it was not for prostitutes (the oldest profession in the world) many people would go their whole life without sex. Humans need to have sex. It is part of being human. I think prostitution should be legal and regulated like any other service industry.

You are absolutely 100% correct in your statement. While most people can get a girlfriend or get laid often, their are many people like me that are infact incapable of getting a girlfriend. I saw my first escort 1 year ago. Escort services should be legal for those that need female companionship. If prostitution was regulated properly, the gov. would make a killing in taxes.

Personally, I don't like prostitution. I think it is morally wrong. However, illegal prostitution is even worse a problem than regular because it is spreading STDs like wild fire especially in poorer countries. Some European countries have legalized prostitution like Germany. I think it really depends on the country. For this country, I think it would too hard for most people to accept.

Sure should be. There's more important crimes to focus on. A well regulated and managed sex industry, with a focus on safety, would also wipe out the unregulated street industry.

The only way it would backfire is if, like they did in Nevada, they price the legal sex out of the market.

I think it should be. Why would a john pick up a street walker addict if he could go to a windowless building and get a garunteed undiseased woman (or man).

It would drive the gangs out of business & create a taxable industry out of it.

yes it has to be legal but i believe that this is due to health issue like to decrease the spread of aids and make sure that the prostitutes follow a medical check up program

I see no constitutional basis to prohibit it, so the 10th Amendment reigns supreme here. If you think it should be legal, go through your local State or County government.

yes would get out the pimps and gangsters control the disease and the use of underage girls and free up law enforcement for other things fine by me. State of Nevada and many foreign countries do.

It should be.

As George Carlin said - Selling's legal. F**king's legal. Why isn't selling f**king legal?

I disagree, leaving aside all of my strong moral opinions (to the best of my ability) I must emphasize the danger of Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Though condoms are readily available in about every gas station in America, no condom is STD proof, and just one STD can be fatal.

Of course it should. Would you rather see your sister do five guys and get paid $100 for each or would you rather see her held down and raped by those same five? Think about it.
