Doctor is harder. Also I was once told (by a Doctor) than their profession has the highest rate of depression.

If you can be either then well done and congratulations.!!

Both career paths are hard and not to be taken lightly. If you dont want to work too hard I would advise that you persue neither career.

I am a law student and do at least 50 hours study a week I believe a medical student does even more weekly. It takes a good few more years to qualify as a Doctor than as a Lawyer.

I dont think that it should come down to which one is easiest but more of which one you are suited to, your learning style and your interest/passion.

Time to be truly honest with yourself here and work out what you want from a career.

Good Luck

Its harder to be a doctor. You will have a better chance at being employed as one as opposed to being a lawyer - there are so many lawyers out there now.

I see incompetent attorneys come into court constantly. They do not know the exhibits, have not prepared the case and do not know what laws, regulations or precedent to cite. It is easier to be a bad attorney than a bad doctor. Bad doctors get sued by good attorneys. Bad attorneys keep on messing up peoples lives, unless they do something so wrong they are disbarred. To be a good attorney requires as much skill and knowledge as a doctor, but usually without the arrogance.

Without a question, it is much more difficult to become a doctor than a lawyer.

It's harder to become a doctor..... and even harder to become a good doctor.

It is harder to become a doctor.

If you are worried about it being too hard -- please don't become a doctor. I wouldn't want someone as a doctor who worries that he might have to do too much work.
