It wouldn't work. If you were to get another AT&T (Cingular) phone you could cause it is the same network, but t-mobile is on a different network.

First of all if you replace your sim card to another phone such as the T-Mobile Sidekick it will not work. Most phones that are sold are lock meaning their phones are sold only and program to use with their specfic cell phone network. If you are with Cingular then yes you can get another Cingular phone and put your sim card into that phone and it will work.

The only way for you to use a Sidekick with Cingular is to purchase a Sidekick that is unlocked. That is the phone software has been change for you to use with another cell phone carrier. Check on ebay for "unlocked GSM cell phones."

You will have to unlock the sidekick before you can put your cingular sim card. If you put your sim card in without unlocking it then the phone won't work.
