Personally, I believe in giving the woman the right to choose what she would like.
I would also like to try to prevent abortions from happening, but it's not like anyone can do much to stop those, except by becoming smarter.
I think though, that a woman should have a logical reason to kill a life, that she has not yet let free.
Who knows what that child could have done for the world?
Not I, not her, not anyone.

I am pro-choice. You should have the right not to be pregnant with another life for 9 months. If you don't care about your body and how you treat it while pregnant you can cause your baby to have very horrible birth defects and other conditions.

However, I think abortion is horrible. I never would have one, and I don't think I could be close friends with someone who had one. I have had issues with infertility and I just wish more people would consider adoption because there are so many loving homes that need children to fill them.

FYI I haven't had an ectopic pregnancy, but those who posted should know that in that case abortion is not a choice. The mother can die true, but the baby will NOT be able to live and grow for very long in that space. It will die anyway, it just depends whether it takes the mother with it. They have tried to move such babies into the uterus and have not been successful.

I am 100% pro choice. If that means a woman has an abortion because she doesn't want a boy, or because she doesn't feel like getting pregnant, or whatever then so be it. I might not agree with their reason for abortion, but I'm sure not going to say that she can't have one. If we start putting stipulations on abortion, then sooner or later it's going to be outlawed and we'll go back to the days of babies in dumpsters, back alley abortions, and thousands of unwanted kids being abused, neglected, raped and killed every day.

Personally, I'd rather it be killed when it's a fetus, than after it is born and is 2 or 3 years old and has to suffer through starvation, abuse, neglect, rape, molestation and only god knows what else.

Frankly, I'd like to see the government stay out of my uterus.

(and FTR, I've never had an abortion)

heres what I think of abortions

very sad-

nine months is not a long time in order to give life and adopt that little baby out. Abortion is for cowards who are selfish. Having sex without protection is irresponsible. I had an abortion 15 years ago and It has hurt me very badly at how foolish I was to make such a drastic choice-

I don't think it should be right at all. I really do think of it as murder....after all, you are killing a human Being. If someone is irresponsible enough to have sex before they are ready to have a baby, and they end up getting into trouble, then it is their responsibility to go through with the pregnancy and give the baby the chance to live on this Earth, they can do so much, even if they are adopted. think about it....what if circumstances were different with everyones own life, and their own parents decided to abort....

I am personally pro-life, but I like how you have thought through to develop your opinion.

Abortion is killing an innocent human life at any stage of the pregnancy. Murder is illegal in the United States- it should be the same no matter at what age the victim is.

Abortion is a serious subject. If it's what the girl wants to do it's her choice, but either way the man who got her pregnant should stand beside her side all the way. My view on abortion is: it's serious, it's scary, but can also be your only option. Basically, i'm not against it, but i'm not into it.

Full pro-life. A person is a person, no matter how small. I don't think a logical reason, or any reason is good enough for taking a life.

Okay now I am really getting tired of seeing this same question. You can type it in the search engine and the other posts will come up. Or go down the lists or to the next page and you'll see this already answered. As a matter of fact I just answered it like 7 minutes ago!

it's murder, and no woman has the right to take an innocent life. in the cases of ectopic pregnancies, i think that is a really hard situation because it could kill the mother if the pregnancy is left alone. i still think it's absolutely wrong, but would not know what to do in that particular situation.

I am completely anti-abortion.. i dont think that anyone should have the choice to kill an unborn child. there is always putting them up for adoption. or giving them to a family or couple that would love to have children but cannot. god gave you this child and i think that by killing it your going against gods wishes. there is a reason for why god gave you this child,
