Dear Frog,
Both are hard to master.
Male to females must deal with facile hair, broad shoulders and narrow hips.to say nothing of a voice that can't be brought back into the feminine range even with hormones.
Female to males mus deal with hiding the bust line. and a physical starchier that looks almost childish by male standards.
Hugs

I think it's harder for a man to act like a woman. It's harder for them to get down the walk and just being more feminine...a woman can easily act like a guy...just act tough.

I've seen lots of drag shows including professional female impersonators in Atlantic City. Men can create the illusion of being a woman. It takes a lot of work, but it can be completely convincing. They are often larger than real women, but this adds to their stage presence. There is a whole lot that can be done with make-up, hair, padding, and clothes to create a male-to-female illusion. On the other hand, any attempts I've seen of women doing male illusion is not convincing. Even great screen actresses fail to create the illusion. Gwyneth Paltrow in Shakespeare in Love....not at all. It's like, you can turn a vanilla shake into a strawberry shake, but a strawberry shake can't be turned into a vanilla shake. Something like that. (lol)

Both can be tough, but I have more fun being a man & trying to act & dress-up like a woman.
