Not so much! But I, ahem, make a mean pasta fagioli, she crab soup, crawdad claw soup, turtle soup, and most any kind of "game" stew, not to mention a fantastic gumbo, seafood or not! Bon appetite & Laissez les bons temps rouler! It's all joie de vivre! Dang it now Ima hungry!

My mum made a killer vegetable and beef soup. She's passed away and I have never been able to replicate it. That dish has been lost forever.

They used to;-} now I'm learning.
The best soups were just left-overs.

My mother made great soup. Bacon soup was her specialty, with potato, onion, carrots, swede, lentils, and diced bacon.
