Bruins Statement Regarding Patrice Bergeron from Dr. Bertram Zarins:
“After initially losing consciousness on the ice, Patrice has regained consciousness and has been taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he is undergoing a series of tests.
Patrice has sustained a concussion and a broken nose. The initial x-rays and CT scan have not shown any other serious injury to his head or neck, and he has full feeling and motion in all of his extremities.

good but he'll be out for a few weeks though. I do expect to see another philly player get hit with a 20 game suspension for it. It looked like a bad hit. The league is cracking down on this as well.
I need to get back into fanatsy hockey the ones on yahoo are a joke.

-Next Flyers/Bruins game should be quite brutal. I forgot who hit Bergeron but Chara will smother whoever it was through the plexi glass.
-The Flyers are going to get hated by every team in the NHL, usually the Red Wings are the most hated to a fan outside of Detroit, but now it could be the Flyers.
-Ironically last night I took him off one of my Fantasy teams, thats incredible, I drop Bergeron, & boom, injury, unfortunately it worked out.

That's good news.
I don't believe the Flyers are a bunch of goons (though Boulerice has a history). It's just one of those strange coincidences in sports, where everything is happening with them right now.

Well Bergeron got a cuncusion he came back and he is at the hospital in Massachussets.

Outstanding! While a concussion can be a serious problem as well, I'm glad there's no serious problems with his neck or spine. Hopefully he's back soon.
