I'm still pondering the "if I were a cop" question.
Initially I'd have a good chuckle, but, I'd have to keep the peace!

I went to college to be one, then ended up with a better job so it was in my plan earlier in life. I would intervene, break it up and do the right thing if there were injuries. Domestic gives some leeway so arrest is judgemental no matter whether it's relative or not and the key is injury and whether they cool off with the intervention.

I'd stop em, unless my partner was of another race or creed or skin color or ethnicity or age group or pay grade orin the wrong gang or had the wrong color shirt on. Especially creed.

My job! A cop takes a oath he/she should stand by it no matter who it is that is breaking the law. If a cop can't do that then he/she is in the wrong profession!

well blood may be thicker than water,but it's your job to protect and serve.you would just have to arrest them,but make sure you were the one to bail them out.
