Live Search
It does what Google does PLUS more.
Here's how:
1. Relevancy - While Google is known for relevancy, is that always true? People have been commenting how Google doesn't pick up on very specific searches real well and how links don't relate right. Live Search for me, picks up the right results most of the time, than Google does.
2. Design - Both Google and Live are very simplified. But Live Search has always looked better to me. Google's is pretty bland, and it's sometimes hard to find some specific areas.
3. Speed - Speed is pretty equal. No difference here.
4. Instant Answers - as far as I know, Google doesn't do this. In Live Search, type "definition cosmopolitan" and you get a real definition on the results page. "weather" and you get local weather in the results page. "houston traffic" and a little interactive maps loads right up on the results page, with traffic info., and it's fast. "cameras" and you get to compare top cameras. Things like that.
5. Image search - Endless scroll search for images. If you like a photo, put it on a scratch pad. You can make a collection of the many images you find.
6. Video search - Hover over a thumbnail clip, and about a 30 sec. preview of the video actually plays! Right on the page! Video search pulls up from many sites including YouTube, MySpace video, Google video, MSN video, and many others. It's a top feature on Live.
7. Related search - Have an idea of what you want to look for, but not sure exactly? Related searches show up on the side. They can be quite useful.
8. MSN/Windows Live integration - if you're a big fan of MSN content or Windows Live services, those are integrated with search too. It really works!
So there you have it. Live Search is 2X better than Google.
Plus, unlike Google, Microsoft doesn't tap into your private data, and use it for the "sake of ads". Do you feel safe with Google?

best answer? Won't that mean whoever agrees with you, and what would be the point of asking? Oh well...
I know Yahoo isn't the best probably, but I'll go with them, since I use them as my homepage...I like all the info that comes with it.
