What does Love mean?
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?"
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:
"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge.
The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.
The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry"

These remind me of Art Linkletter 's show "Kids Say the Darndest things" These comments are priceless. Thankyou .I like the one about Christmas. Leo Buscallia was a great motivational speaker. I saw him on PBS years ago. Another good one is Loretta La Roche also on PBS. Here's a link with her picture if you haven't heard her speak , she is wonderfully funny but serious at the same time.

I think love is, putting someone else's needs before yours. Acting in a certain, friendly way to that one special someone. But it doesn't have to be necessiarily a person. It can be a animal too. I would die for my cats. Love is just being there, when nobody else is around 💗

Love Leo Buscaglia. Read a book by him once and I could not put it down until I was finished. Wish I could remember where I put that book now. A very wise man.

Remember to ask your grandaughter that question when she is a bit older.

Mommy k232...been there, done that. Now it is time to let go of the hate and move on. Or are you REALLY going to let your ex steal the ability to love from you as well? Don't give him another MINUTE of power over your emotions.

Love is what you lose after 15 years of marriage when your husband decides he loves you but is NOT IN LOVE with you.
