Love should be unconditional, I forgot who said this but I think it is wonderful perception on love.

"Love is not blind: It sees more, not less. But because love sees more, it is willing to see less."

I love my girlfriend, and her flaws are just another part I love lol. So yes, love and I use love as a general statement should be unconditional, and true love. Exceptionally unconditional :)

God Bless.

No, in my opinion sometimes love comes and goes away and there is nothing unconditional. Love like music and depends on many things do not mix it with marriage or obligation, but who survive love through the life time they are just lucky and happy people.

Yes, but in my opinion, unconditional love only works when it is reciprocated. So if there is possibly one "condition," it is that some one loves you back in the same way.

OMG!! i had this video shown in school about sex education and red henning said that love is not a feeiling!! its an action that makes you want to do the better for the other one. so if somebody were to kill himself or beat the crap out of somebody just because they say the love that somebody the no... then no LOVE IS NOT UNCONDITIONAL!!
LOVE IS AN ACTION TO DO THE RIGHT THING!!

Very difficult question. My love for my kids IS unconditional. But my husband, who I love very much and can't imagine being without, is not unconditional. Because if he treat me bad, or did bad things, I would have to say, I'd fall out of love with him. So.... NO

Good question though

No, sorry to be a party pooper, if you found out something horendous about your lover like they had murdered someone, abused children or stole from pensioners you would no longer have unconditional love unless you were not right in the head yourself

Ideally, yes. But, as humans we fall short sometimes in loving unconditionally.

I don't see how it can be! For instance, you can't let someone get away with bad or insulting behaviour just because you love them.I have seen several people let their partner isolate them from all their family & friends because of this, then live to regret it later.
