The human race will one day split into two separate species, an attractive, intelligent ruling elite and an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures, according to a top scientist.
100,000 years into the future, sexual selection could mean that two distinct breeds of human will have developed.
The alarming prediction comes from evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry from the London School of Economics, who says that the human race will have reached its physical peak by the year 3000.

This is eugenic bull-crap. They would like to support the inbreeding of the elite but it don't work that way. Inbreeding causes birth defects. Read up on eugenics at wiki. The Nazi's in Germany and the Elite in the US were trying to breed a super race and a slave race way back in the late 1800's and early 1920's and really in more recent times. This news statement sounds like they are trying to say it enough times until someone believes it.
I think that one day there will be no races as the eventual cross breeding of races may eliminate separate races but my crystal ball is broken and I can't predict the future.. Can you?...
Now if they domesticated humans and selectively bred us as we did with the wolf 15 thousand years ago and the cat approx 4 thousand years ago, we might have several different varieties of humans. That would be spooky wouldn't it?
The only way that humans could split into separate species would be that at least two population groups would have to be separated for a long period of time and how could anyone assume what that result would be.. If Darwin was right then only traits that would help the survival of the species would prevail.

Possible. The way society is today concerning beauty... They are all obsessed in choosing an opposite sex that is perfect.
If you like reading about this might I suggest a book that is pretty much the same as this theory? It's a 3 part book called... Uglies, Pretties, and Speacials. I am not sure who it is by but it has a face of a girl and boy on the front.

honestly its not the separating into 2 different sections of humans. its the prediction of what they will be like that i find silly. i think can see the beginning of the separation now. but its not so much appearance as it is understanding the surroundings that is apparent to me. there r some ppl who do not seem to understand as well as others. the only part of that article i completely agreed with was the part about antibiotics and it weaken our immune systems. u can see the beginning of that now. they dont work as well u have to keep up the doesage. many infections are becoming resistant to them. its scary.
